Integrated MIS Initiative
Data-sharing at the clinical, program and cross-system level is critical for supporting
- Effective and appropriate services for children with complex needs and
- Comprehensive services evaluation.
Data is a key element in promoting, tracking and sustaining system change and improvement. An interagency information system is an essential part of the infrastructure in building systems of care. It allows different agencies to better share data, "talk" to each other, and access information to provide appropriate "individualized" care for children and their families, highlight service gaps and strengths, and track costs and expenditures.
Learn About Integrated MIS from:
Interagency MIS Toolkit
- The Interagency MIS Toolkit (Under Development) will document "programmatic" and "analytical" methods of linking data by describing ways that states and counties have used information from multiple jurisdictions to answer questions and make decisions about their multi-agency children's services.
Listserv for Evaluators
- The Listserv for Evaluators (TAMIS-L) provides a venue for sharing information about children?s system of care evaluation efforts and interagency MIS taking place around the country. To subscribe, send an email message to: listproc@listproc.georgetown.edu with the following command in the body of the message (leave the subject line blank):
