  • Health Care Reform Tracking Project

    This multiyear study analyzes the impact of public sector managed care reforms on children and adolescents with emotional and substance abuse disorders and their families. The study includes a special analysis of the effects of these initiatives on youth in the child welfare system.   • Welfare Reform Study

    This study investigates the potential of welfare reform law, policies, and practices to serve children and families with mental health needs and addresses the connection between welfare reform and child welfare. Two documents have been developed to serve as technical assistance resources for mental health and child welfare administrators who want to understand welfare reform provisions and practices and access resources available to states and communities.

  • Identifying Promising Approaches for Meeting the Health Care Needs of Children in State Protective Custody

  • Culturally Competent Interventions in Mental Health

    A study of Culturally Competent Interventions identifies State and local community mental health interventions that are effective in serving culturally diverse populations.

  • Asian American/Pacific Islander Youth Development and Violence Prevention

    This study is a secondary analysis of the data on Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) youth in the National Evaluation of the federal Center for Mental Health Services’ Comprehensive Community Mental Health Services for Children and their Families Program. Characteristics and outcomes of AAPI children and families served in these sites will be examined.
